Kaplan Tax Career Impact was established to serve tax and financial professionals in an informed, honest and clear manner, not typically found with other sources.

We aim to see beyond resume buzz words. Our evaluation process includes obtaining a concise understanding of a candidate’s technical background, career objectives, accomplishments, research abilities, business acumen, communication style and personality type.

A client/candidate meeting is set up only after our in depth evaluation is completed. At that point both candidate and client will receive an honest assessment of the other in determining a true fit. With this type of conservative approach two benefits accrue; neither party wastes time with needless meetings and the client success rate in hiring the best candidate sky rockets.

Before founding Kaplan Tax Career Impact, David Kaplan spent 6 years with a national retained search firm. Prior to corporate recruiting David functioned as a CPA in public accounting (KPMG and E&Y/AY) and industry as a Tax Manager for a public company.
